Un Noche Peruana

Yesterday I got my new credit card and debit card in the mail yay! Thanks Steven so much for sending those items to me, now I have my online banking again and can see when my financial aid comes in, which should beon the 27th yay! Anyway, yesterday me and Cristian went to the Puma outlet and walked around our neighborhood. I wasn't too impressed with the Puma outlet, I couldn't go to the Puma outlet in Sacramento and get a better deal, anyway that's the problem with tariffs and not having free trade. These major MNCs can sell last years of even two year ago products at the same price they are going for in the US, how disgusting! Anyway, then we went to a panderia (yummy!). A panderia is a bakery that sells the most delicious sweets and tarts ever! I told Cristian I was mad at him for taking me there jaja! Cristian's bday is coming up on the 7th and while we were in there he pointed out a cake or pie or tart I don't know how to call it that he said was his favorite cake ever. So, I'm going to be sneaky and go back there and get it for him for his bday. I'm sneaky and mean, spiders in my dreams, woh nightman. Ok, so then we went home, I went to the gym, then met up with my friend Marin. O but before all this, I took a cab because it was late and I didn't feel like dealing with public transit and the buses, don't get me wrong I love taking the buses, I was just being lazy jaja. So the cab driver was being really friendly and giving me all his cards and phone number and said if I ever need a cab ride just to call him blah blah blah! Anyway, it was good practice for my Spanish because I understood and responded to everything he said so I give it an A+, now I don't really need my friends or roomies around to help me, I pretty much can go off on my own. So I arrived at Marin's house and we left from there to go to a Peruvian (Peru) restaurant. I have never had peruvian food before but I will tell you that my craving for seafood is now fulfilled. I never thought that I would seafood in Buenos Aires but now I know where to go! Wow, it was delicious and fresh and had lots of cilantro and lemon. If you haven't tried Peruvian food I highly recommend it! So, the dinner was for a chico from Peru and his family and friends were very friendly and asked me lots of questions algo asi. After we went to a salsa club named Azucar (sugar in Spanish). O my god how embarrassing, I have no idea how to dance salsa and they were trying to teach me. But it was fun and I met some really great people and ate some really great seafood finally. I went home early because I wanted to get up to go to a yoga class today. Today I'm going to bed studying studying studying all day! I need to read and catch up. I have been doing too much socializing jaja. Anyway, I love you all nothing much is going on here besides that. School is going well except the one class I wanted to learn in: Latin American Political Systems, we only watch movies, what a bummer! Anyway, next semester will be more challenging and hopefully more along the lines of my major. Cristian suggested that I go to see people talking about the politics of Latin America. So I'm going to research that and see what its all about. Anyway, chau chau ches!
BESITOS!
